Brands Hatch is a permanent race circuit located near Swanley in Kent, England. The track was originally used as a dirt track motorcycle circuit that ran over neighboring farmland. This widely popular circuit hosted 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986 and still host popular events including the FIA Formula Two Championship, British Touring Car Championship and the Superleague Formula. The last high profile race to take place at Brands Hatch was the 2003 Cart Series race won by Newman/Haas' Sebastian Bourdais.

The GP Circuit measures 2.613 miles (4.206 km) while the Indy Circuit's distance is 1.198 miles (1.929 kM). The GP circuit consists of 9 turns with a long straight in between turns 4 and 5. One of the most famous turns is the 7th turn, which is actually a chicane, called Dingle Dell Corner. Expert drivers sometimes have difficulties navigating this at speed so if you embark on a driving experience at Brands Hatch, be sure to ask your instructor about the proper way to power your vehicle through this section.

One of the odd restrictions that limits some of the events and Brands Hatch driving experience packages is the noise curfew imposed due to the housing located close to the race facility. Race engines cannot be started until after 8:30 AM and all racing must conclude by 6:30 PM. With the weekends booked fairly solid with events during the racing season, you may find some scheduling restrictions and have to find time during the week to get out in a high performance vehicle.

The Caterham lightweight sports cars is one of the most popular vehicles at the Brands Hatch facility. The track offers slalom, circuit racing and drifting experiences in these powerful cars. Both the slalom and drifting experiences in these vehicles take place on a tarmac area next to the main circuit. For the circuit experience, the Indy configuration is generally used. Brands Hatch also offers a Rally Master driving experience for those inclined to try out their hand brake turning skills.
